Hammond, IN - The Panthers closed this weekend's IU/PU Challenge at Purdue University Calumet versus the NAIA DII #7 Indiana Univeristy Southeast Grenadiers.

The Panthers fall to 0-4 on the season after falling behind early to the high powered offense of the Grenadiers.

IUSE shot an impressive 56% from the field and 54% from behind the arc knocking down 13 of 24 three pointers in the first half.  They continued the hot shooting throughout the game hitting 5 more three pointers in the second half which proved to be too much for the Panthers.

"Their full court press hurt us late in the first half and we just didn't recover.  I don't know if we will face a press like that the rest of the year, they are a tough team to have on the schedule this early in the season" said Coach Schnatz.

The Panthers had three players in double digits led by junior Jordan Delks with 16 points and a team high 6 rebounds.  Junior Jordan Wiseman had 14 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block and 2 steals.  Junior Nick Neal chipped in a season high 7 assists for the Panthers.

Next on the schedule is CCAC Division I Olivet Nazarene University (3-3). The Panthers will travel to Bourbonnais, IL Tuesday, November 16th. Tip-off is set for 7:00pm cst.
