The PNC volleyball team had their last home game of the season on Thursday night against Trinity Christian College.
The Panthers lost a highly contested match in four games by the scores of 16-25, 25-23, 19-25, and 21-25. PNC is now 9-17 overall and 2-5 in conference while the Trolls moved to 9-15 and 3-4.
Senior Alyssa Davis ended her home career with a great all around match. Davis collected 40 assists, 11 digs and an ace in the loss. Junior Tara Irwin led the Panthers offensively with 13 kills, followed by freshmen Kelsey Russel with 12 and Latesha Mitchel with 10. Junior Kirah Fifield led PNC's defense with 27 digs.
Prior to the game Davis was recognized for her outstanding career at PNC where she is pursuing a degree in Nursing.
The Panthers travel to Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Tuesday to take on CCAC foe Cardinal Stritch University at 7 p.m.
