Freshman Dan Snyder got his first collegiate win against Ave Maria University Tuesday afternoon at Webber International University in Babson Park, FL. Snyder went four innings striking out three and only giving up two hits. Junior Chuck Meyers struggled in relief, pitching three innings walking one, giving up nine hits and six earned runs.
The PNC offense put together 12 hits with junior Greg Toliver leading the charge with four hits and four RBI. Freshman Eddie Moldenhauer and junior Ched Gaskin each had two hits with multiple RBI with Gaskin hitting his first homerun as a PNC Panther.
The Panthers will have an off day tomorrow and will be taking on Walsh and Bellevue on Thursday as they continue their Florida trip.
