PNC Softball dropped two to Iowa Wesleyan 7-4 and 9-2.

Iowa Wesleyan redeemed two Arizona losses to PNC by taking the double header from the Panthers 7-4 and 9-2. 

PNC gave up a tough game one against the Tigers. Jaci Williams started for the Panthers striking out 4 and giving up one walk. Karissa Inglis entered the game in the sixth and together only gave up six hits. 

The bats were not as hot for PNC. Megan Olson and Inglis went two for three. Sam Jones went one for two in the game with a walk and two RBI's. 

Panthers tried to right themselves in the second game scoring a run on a solo homer in the first inning by Lindsay Gernenz. Hillary Hoffman started in the circle for PNC with Welsh entering the game in the sixth to finish. 

Offensively, the Panthers were led by Hoffman who went two for four while Downs, and Williams both went one for three. Erica Pauer went one for two and Lindsay Gernenz went one for four with her solo homer.

PNC moves to 18-16 on the season. The Panthers will be in action tomorrow when they begin play in the Iowa Wesleyan College, Sammons Classic against Saint Ambrose University. Game time starts at 10:00 a.m.
