It took two extra innings to decide the winner of game one. PNC prevailed 5-4 hitting the winning run in the ninth. Jaci Williams started the game, giving up only three hits, striking out two. Karissa Inglis entered the game in the fourth and finished the game. Inglis gave up three hits and struck out two.

The Panther offense was led by Sam Jones with three hits, and three RBI's. Jones hit her sixth homer of the year in second inning and gave the Panthers a 3-0 lead. Inglis also had three hits one being a double.      

Amber Welsh's pitched a complete four hit shutout in game two to take the win from Grace 9-0 in six innings. Welsh turned in a stellar performance with no walks and striking out five. Grace was able to get to second once in the entire game. 

PNC scored two runs in the fifth inning. Erica Pauer led off with a single and scored on a Jaci Williams double. Williams then scored on an Inglis base hit to the right side.

The Panthers exploded in the sixth inning, earning seven runs. Jones broke the game open when she hit double with bases loaded, earning three RBI's. 

The offense was led by Jones with two hits in four at bats with one double and three RBI's. Williams earned two hits in four at bats with two doubles and two RBI's while Denise Runge went two for four with one double and one RBI.

The Panthers will be back in action on Thursday, March 22 when they travel to Palos Heights, Illinois to face Conference foe Trinity Christian College in a double header match up. Game time 3:00pm.
