This marks the second time that PNC has matched up against the Archers this season. In their first meeting, the first match of the season for the Panthers, PNC was defeated in 3 games. Friday nights game turned out better for The Panthers as they were able to win in 5 games by the scores of 28-26, 17-25, 25-17, 19-25, and 18-16
PNC played good team volleyball tonight and it showed in the game stats. Kelsey Russell had 18 kills, 6 block assists, and 4 digs while Aimee Hanna had a season high 17 kills as well as 11 digs and one solo block. Jamie Lowther was just shy of a double/double with 13 kills and 9 digs. Brittany Piaseczny had a good all around game with 5 kills, a team high 4 aces, 7 digs, and the match clinching solo block. Kristina Press contributed 4 kills and 2 assist blocks whileJessica Novak collected 42 assists in the victory. Megan Staroscsak anchored the defense with 22 digs and 3 aces andSamantha Stern chipped in 8 clutch digs for the Panthers.
