Ryan Frost a junior outfielder from St. John, IN (Lake Central High School) currently has a 23 game hit-streak active through Purdue North Central's past 25 games.
Frost has collected a total of 57 hits in 137 at bats and is currently batting .416 with four homeruns, 36 RBI, 13 doubles, one triple, six stolen bases and 26 runs while slugging .613.

During an "off" year where PNC's current record stands at 10-32 overall and 6-18 in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference, Frost has been one of the bright spots on a relatively young and inexperienced team and provides a glimpse of why the Panthers have every reason to be excited heading into next season.

"Ryan has been a tremendous leader on the field as well as off," said head coach John Weber. "He has provided the spark and leadership that our young team looks to build upon going into next year. We are really excited to have him back for another season."

The NAIA record for the most consecutive games with a hit is 54 set by Tommy Stewart at Southern Arkansas in 1995. Frost has a chance to add to his streak starting this afternoon when PNC travels to Palos Heights, IL to take on Trinity Christian College at 3:30 p.m.
