The Purdue University North Central Women's Volleyball team played their first game of the season Friday night in Valparaiso when they hosted Moody Bible Institute of Chicago . The Panthers were defeated in four games by the scores of 12-25, 20-25, 25-15, and 19-25.

Offensively, PNC was led by sophomore Kelsey Russell who had 10 kills and freshman Aimee Hanna who had 9 kills.  Junior Jessica Novak racked up 24 assists and 1 ace in the loss.  Junior Jamie Lowther and senior Magen Staroscsak led the defensive effort with 13 and 11 digs respectively. 


The Panthers travel to Milwaukee on Tuesday to take on Cardinal Stritch University on Tuesday, Sept. 6 in their first CCAC match of the season.
